The First Year of the Degree Program lays a strong biblical and theological foundation focused on identity, grace, and New Covenant understanding. Students will explore core themes of who they are in Christ, the revelation of Jesus, and the transforming power of God’s grace. Through in-depth verse-by-verse studies of key New Testament books—including John, Romans, Galatians, Ephesians, and Hebrews—students gain a solid scriptural grounding that shapes their spiritual growth and ministry effectiveness.
The year also includes a Ministry Practicum/Reading Program, where students engage in practical spiritual formation by reading through the entire Bible or completing approved service hours.
By the end of Year 1, students will have developed a deeper understanding of God’s grace, their identity in Christ, and the foundations of New Covenant living—equipping them for continued study and effective ministry.
